"Kill Lindsay Clancy"......Done......Kids safe

I basically know nothing about Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, I do know a thing or two about computers. One of those things is that each one of us, including dogs and cats, functions as a computer, some more rudimentary than others. I also know what it feels like to “lose it”. Millions of people have “lost it” at one time or other during their lives. People don’t like to admit it, let alone talk about it; but it is true nonetheless. 

I became aware of the Lindsay Clancy alleged murder story and trial on the day that a mistrial was pronounced/declared. It is one of those sad situations where everybody is right, but those who understand that fact, dare not speak out for fear of “outing” themselves. Lindsay Clancy was insane when she killed her two children. She was insane when she threw herself out the window.  

The Prosecutor argued that Lindsay Clancy knew right from wrong when she killed those children. The prosecutor is right, believe you me. The problem is that when you are insane, right and wrong SWITCH places! You can still differentiate them, but they are inverted. As a result you become extremely SCARED! YOU LOSE IT. When Lindsay Clancy looked into the eyes of those smiling little ones, she most probably saw mortal danger towards herself. She saw unmitigated evil, the type portrayed in horror movies. She lashed out in an effort to eliminate the danger to herself and to humanity. She was trying to escape. She genuinely believed that by killing them, the danger to herself would be eliminated. But alas, even after they were dead, the evil kept coming at her. That is why she threw herself out the window. She probably did not intend to kill herself, but to escape; or at that point she had reached the conclusion that the only way to escape the evil was by killing herself. You see, she is being tried now, after the episode has passed. She now knows that she was insane, because there is no way that her darling little ones could have been evil. She misses them, perhaps very badly. For some reason that we do not know, something triggered the insane episode. But now she has to explain her behaviour. So she has to find a “rational” explanation; one that can be understood and hopefully, believed by those who were not “there”. So she goes for the easiest explanation “I heard voices telling me to kill them!”

If Lindsay Clancy had a “kill” switch and if she was not alone with defenceless children at the time, the “kill” switch would have been flipped. Those children would probably have been saved. This brings us to the question of incorporating a “kill” switch into the AI models that we develop. One can only hope that the experts who have alerted humanity to the danger of AI without guard rails, do get listened to, and taken seriously, very seriously indeed!   

A rather frightening scenario

 If the United States were to fold its arms and say: I've had enough with the Strait of Hormuz, I am going back home", how would the world react if soon thereafter, they (the US) blockade the Bering Strait and demand tolls from anybody wishing to access the North Pole?  Would India, China, Japan tolerate such a scenario?

Botswana Television (BTV) translation into Kalanga language

 I happen to speak Ikalanga language, Tjililima dialect. I have been under the impression that the month of October is Mbudzi, meaning "goats"; and that November is Zhedzi. I notice, however that BTV's translators have their translations switched around, with October being Zhedzi and November being Mbudzi. 

Would someone with good understanding of why the months are named as they are, please explain what exactly the month of November has to do with goats. In closing, I think it would be a good idea to have translators cycled/alternated in order to avoid giving the impression that the North East Botswana dialect of Kalanga is the OFFICIAL version in Botswana. From my experience the version of Kalanga spoken in Serowe is among the most ancient versions of Kalanga in existence. 

Blimey! Blighty right here at home?

We have seen an affinity between the nations of Bakhwe (Bushmen) and Batshaina (Chinese); between Bakhurutshe (Russians) and Bahumbe (Belarussians). A similar affinity exists between Bayengi (English) who are Anunnaki era nurses and Bayela (Greeks) who are Anunnaki era enumerators. The English/Greek affinity is exemplified by among others, the marriage of then Princess Elizabeth to The Greek Prince Phillip; (I dare say) the erection of Greek South African president Nelson Mandela’s statue in Westminster! So, why would this English/Greek affinity exist only in Europe? Surely it must have started in Africa?

As a matter of fact, it did. The informal Kalanga name for Bayela (Greeks) is Baka Habangana, literally meaning “enumerators”. Their typical village in Botswana is called Ka-Habangana, some ten to fifteen kilometres from the Botswana/Zimbabwe border, where the “Cape Town to Cairo” railway crosses the joint border.

Next to Ka-Habangana, by some five kilometres, is a village called Nlapkhwani. The pronunciation of Nlapkhwani, even by its inhabitants hides their true identity. They are English! Yes, black like late Uncle Bob Mugabe on whose doorstep they reside! Just imagine it: “Toni Bleya’s” people, some of whom may be on the Zimbabwean side of the border even as Uncle Bob watches from the comfort of Saturn’s moon Titan, where he probably now resides!

The anatomy of the mispronunciation is quite simple. The name stems from the Kalanga verb “ku lapa” meaning to medically treat someone. Ku lapkhwa is to be treated. So here is the catch: Lapkhwani, with the impact/emphasis laid on the final “ni” as is done today, renders the word lapkhwani as a question – being treated for what? However if the emphasis is transferred to the “pkhwa”, the word lapkhwani becomes an instruction – get treated! This is who they are – the nurses! Thus, the people of Nlapkhwani village are undoubtedly the English. Did good old Phandu know this all along, I wonder!

Africa's second slave trade.

 This time around the slaves “apply” for visas, are vetted, and fly to their destination – America. They are “white” and are known as Afrikaners.

Actually, it’s not the second but the third African slave trade. The second slave trade is depositing its human cargo at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of the captors in both the second and third trades hold yearly meetings in Addis Ababa, while others conduct human extermination battles in Darfur, Goma, Juba, Khartoum etc. [Expletive]!

Kgosi (Chief) Khama IV, don’t be a coward!

 In 2011 you held a meeting at Mathangwane Kgotla in your then capacity as President of the Republic Botswana. At the meeting you were asked by one Damien Uwe Hobona to state how you intended to treat his grandfather Hubona Nshakazhogwe’s private land in your land audit.

Mr Damien Hobona claimed that your government, through the Tribal Administration of which you are now head, knows that his grandfather was awarded the land through a colonial British Court order following the illegal assault occasioning bodily harm that your great grandfather visited upon Hubona around the year 1914. You were with the Lands Permanent Secretary, one Thato Raphaka, who claimed not to know anything about the said land.

Now a great injustice is being done to Hubona’s descendants. The stolen land is being overpopulated with squatters; the intention being to render Hubona’s descendants a minority on their grandfather’s land, the better to kick them off the land.

So Kgosi Khama IV, don’t be a coward! Come and explain to all and sundry, what you as Bamangwato Kgosi know about the said land, given that your father, late Sir Seretse Khama was born on the said Hubona’s privately owned land.

Taiwan defines China; just as Catalonia defines Spain

 In my mind I can almost visualize an old Chinese individual, still able to speak or at the very least understand, the Kalanga language, laughing at my ignorance. To him/her my ignorance is manifest in my recent post regarding Taiwan being possibly so named by the gods! To him/her I sincerely apologize and accept his/her scorn. I had not given the Kalanga name Taiwan(a) enough thought.

The name Taiwan, together with its capital city Taipei, both define what it is to be Chinese. The two associated Kalanga verbs are:

Ku wana, which means to find or to obtain.

Ku piya, which means to pack (a well).

Recall that China is actually “Tsha ina” meaning “dig for water”. The Chinese are the human workgroup that was responsible for digging for water as the name “Beijing” (people of the water well) so aptly describes. So the declaration “Taiwana; Taipiya!” means “We have found/struck the water, and we have packed the well!” Surely you couldn’t be more “Chinese” than that.

Those who are not very young will remember one Carlos Pugdemont, a resident of the Spanish region of Catalonia, who led a movement of cessation from Spain. The movement was defeated and Pugdemont spent years in exile somewhere in Europe. 

Well, in the same way that Taiwan defines being Chinese, Catalonia defines being Spanish. The only difference is that in Taiwan’s case, the language used is pure, unblemished Kalanga, while in Catalonia’s case the language is Kalanga corrupted by Sumerian/Arab/Sotho/Tswana.

The Kalanga prefix “Ka” before a name means “Home of”.  Ka-Trump means USA; Ka-Putin means Russia, Ka-Xi Jinpin means China, Ka-Boko is synonymous with Ka-Yours Truly, etc. And so Catalonia should be read “Ka-Tang lo wo nya”.  The phrase “Tang lo wo nya” is Kalanga, corrupted by Sumerian/Arab/Sotho/Tswana, and meaning “Come and sh!t”. Similarly, Barcelona should be read “Ba tsile go nya”, also corrupted combination of Sumerian/Arab/Sotho/Tswana and Kalanga, meaning “They have come to sh!t, or they are coming to sh!t”.

Viewed in the context of “Espania” being Kalanga for “Isa panya”, meaning “to take (someone) to the loo” one begins to appreciate why Catalonia defines Spain.

 

Ikalanga language - a blessing and a curse

 Ikalanga language, being the ultimate old language, can be both a blessing and a curse; a blessing in that through it you unlock history all the way from humanity’s “creation”, and a curse because when you encounter a “we”, you don’t know if it is “we humans” or “we gods”! Only in extremely rare cases are you able to deduce that it is the latter, i.e. “we gods”. Such is the phrase “Titan/Titana”, which means “(we) boarding or embarking”. The phrase is derived from the Kalanga infinitive verb “ku tana”. Because humanity has never been to Saturn’s moon Titan, we can safely assume that whoever was boarding a vehicle or spaceship there was certainly not human, therefore it must have been a god!

Here on mother Earth however, we simply cannot tell, because both we humans and the gods have lived, and possibly continue to live, together. One such Kalanga verb is “ku wana”, meaning “to find or to obtain”. The Chinese island of Taiwan carries a Kalanga name: Taiwana. Taiwana means “We have found it, or we have obtained it”. I have no idea who “we” are, or what “it” is! The “we” could be just a group of the Chinese people, and the “it” could be the island itself. But given that some scientists’ research has revealed that there is a huge magnet inside the earth whose pole is somewhere around Beijing, it could be that the “we” are the gods and “it” is that magnet below Beijing!

Still on “ku wana”, there is a tribe in the North West of Botswana, who call themselves “BaTawana”, a Kalanga phrase meaning “those whom we found”. The Sumerian/Arab/Sotho/Tswana speakers in our country have, as usual, wrongfully interpreted the name Batawana to be Sumerian for “people of the young lion”. My belief that the name is Kalanga has been buttressed by research done by an Australian university, which reveals that the earliest homo species were found in that part of swampy western Botswana. This really makes sense. Before Homo sapiens (tsha-piens) was developed by the gods and given the skill to dig for water (ku tsha), any homo species would have lived, like all other wild animals, around the swamps! That would explain why the gods called them “Batawana”, meaning “those that we found”. And so the “we” in this case evidently means “we, the gods”.

Holding political leaders accountable...

 Just before the elections of October 30, four men submitted their names as candidates for the office of President of Botswana: Duma Boko for the UDC, Dumelang Saleshando for the BCP, Mephato Reatile for the BPF and Former President (F-resident) Mokgweetsi Masisi for the BDP. Each of those men was backed by a list of one thousand names of their political followers. Each man promised to deliver a minimum of 31 constituencies won by his party under his leadership.

As things turned out, only President Duma Boko did deliver the 31 constituencies. While some rumblings of alleged unfairness of the elections were voiced subsequently, the other three (3) gentlemen nevertheless conceded defeat at the elections. What I find very surprising is that their statements conceding defeat were not accompanied by their announcements of their resignations as leaders of their parties. Even the most dismal performer, being F-resident Masisi, could only say that the matter of his future in the BDP was an internal party matter. This is shocking! It's as if he doesn't really accept responsibility for his party's loss. F-resident Masisi should have announced his resignation as party leader on 31 October, 2024 at the latest. The same goes for Dumelang Saleshando. He shouldn't even be Leader of Opposition in Parliament. Any one of the BCP members of Parliament could have been chosen to lead the opposition in Parliament. 

Political parties have a right, and the country at large has an expectation, that those who fail to successfully lead their parties to victory in an election, should step aside. No "internal matters"  need be considered until the leadership has changed hands. I would go so far as to suggest that in the case of political parties that are a conglomerate of different political organizations such as BCP comprising of MELS, BAM etc. not only the BCP leader but all the leaders of the constituent parties should resign as well, because it was their decisions which led to their parties having the BCP leader as their presidential candidate.  And so I call upon F-resident Masisi, Mr. Dumelang Saleshando, Mr. Mephato Reatile along with all their political lieutenants to resign leaderships of their parties immediately!

Mission to Jupiter's moon Europa

 I did not know that the Americans were planning to send a probe to Europa. I would have suggested that they write "Mabuyani", meaning "Greetings" in Kalanga languguage, outside the probe. You see, Europa is best understood when said in Russian - Evropa. This is Kalanga language with Sumerian corruption. In Kalanga "Europa" is mispronunciation of  "I-be-lopa", literally meaning "Those of blood"; that is "blood relatives." So the Titans are telling us that their brethren live on Jupiter's icy moon.

I sure hope to be still alive in 2030 when the probe arrives. If not, well, just too bad! 

Ikalanga language: yours, mine and the gods'

 The reason why I will never stop fighting the Botswana government for their banning of my language, Kalanga, is because the language they would rather have us speak, their language, is just as foreign as, if not more foreign than, the English language. The Setswana language that they have declared a national language at the expense of my language is actually Sumerian language. In contrast Kalanga language is native to humanity because it is the language of the Anunnaki gold miners.

Take the moons of Saturn for example. At least two  of them have Kalanga names - Titan and Enceladus. Titan is ancient script, the final "a" is omitted . The correct pronunciation is Titana, meaning " (we) embarking". In other words the gods embarked on their crafts on Saturn's moon Titan to come to Earth. 

Enceladus starts with the "E" just as Egypt. So I'll write it as "I" just as in Zulu. Enceladus becomes I-nchela-dusa, also written as I-ntjela-dusa. Ku chela means to scoop (water). Ku dusa means "to take out" or to extract. So the name of Saturn's moon Enceladus refers to the high plumes of water splashing from the surface of Enceladus. So, through the medium of Kalanga you can see that the gods reside on Titana, the very cold moon of Saturn. As for the clouds of Titan being methane clouds, in my view that only goes to show that life does not need as much oxygen as we have here on earth to survive.

I am neither a scientist nor a chemist, but I get surprised when people say that cow fart causes green house effect through the gas methane. If methane is such a consequential cause of  the green house effect on earth, how come Titan, where there are seas of liquid methane, and where it rains methane; how come it's so cold there?

It was originally, a Kalanga world

Many Kalanga words are unrecognizable today because ancient script is no longer read as it should. Take the Egyptian capital for example - "Ka-Ilo" which is now written as Cairo. Ilo, also written as "El" was "the lord"; that being the ruling Anunnaki. For some Ilo was Enlil while in Egypt Ilo was Enki. The Kalanga "e" was pronounced as in Russia today - ye. It is for this reason that the name "Mandela" is written correctly, but pronounced incorrectly today. The correct pronunciation is "Mand-ye-la". 

The shepherds of the middle east are incorrectly named today. The word "Bedouin" should be pronounced "Bedhuni". Dhuni in Kalanga is the mortar in which corn/grain is ground. Duni la kuku means Grandma's dhuni. The Bedouin used to make these mortars while they were looking after their flocks. They would then come into the cities when they had sizable stocks of "matuni" (many dhunis) to sell. That's how they were referred to as "Bedhuni".     

Earth's statisticians

 Greeks (Bayela) are more than just measurers. They are enumerators, quantifiers, you name it. Their Kalanga group identity is known as "Haba-ngana" meaning "How many are these ones?" Their core activity of course is "ku yela", meaning "to measure". Names that they give to their kids are usually in line with measuring. Such Kalanga names as Eleni (meaning "do measure"), Ma-ndi-ela (aka Mandela, meaning "you have measured me") are typical Bayela names.

The one thing I find odd is that the Greek alphabet (aka the Kalanga alphabet) does not seem to include the best numerals. The best numerals, if today's widespread use is anything to go by, are the Arabic numerals. I have not been able to figure out why anyone would have numerals that are easier or more suitable for statistics that earth's statisticians.

London - a Kalanga exclamation/statement!

 The English are the workgroup that the Anunnaki assigned to nursing. In Kalanga they are known as Bayengi/Baengi.

The Kalanga infinitive verb "ku dana" means "to call", as in "to call the children in when a storm threatens", or "to call your daughter Marie Antoinette", or for that matter, a search party "calling" out the name of a lost hiker in the forest!.

In a Kalanga-speaking hospital setting, assume that you are the doctor, the expert. At the origin of man the experts were the Anunnaki, of course. If a nurse comes running and says to you "lo ndana", that means "it is calling him/her". The "it" could be the burial hole or the funeral pyre. In other words in such a setting "lo ndana" means "he/she is critically ill".

It is a long shot but I believe that LONDON is a Kalanga exclamation "lo ndana! (ilo gomba kene ilo bibi)".

Moscow - another Kalanga name, I believe!

 Russians are Bakhurutshe; that has been sufficiently established not to warrant too much further explanation, save to say that they are the human workgroup established by the Anunnaki first, to gather tree bark to make ropes with, and ultimately to supervise all gold mining operations. It is for this reason that the Russian word for gold is the original Kalanga name for same - zolota. If you look up the Russian word for gold on the Internet and find "zoloto" don't be alarmed because the final "o" simply expresses the neuter gender of the word, and is pronounced as an "a" anyway!

And so as the mining supervisors, the Bakhurutshe had to enforce discipline among the miners NOT TO NICK/PILFER GOLD. The Kalanga infinitive verb "ku koba" means "to disburse" or "to share out". The phrase "Mu si kobe" means "Do not disburse". The word "Moscow" or "Moskva" is a corruption of the Kalanga phrase "Mu si kobe (zolota)", which phrase means "Do not disburse/share out (gold)".

I welcome any corrections or suggestions by those who may know better.

More on Germans, French and their African counterparts - Baherero; Baganda.

 I have not come across anything to suggest that my speculations in the blog "myshasheblog" about the Germans being Baherero and the French being Baganda are wrong. I am acutely aware that those nationalities know best who they are, even if it may have just been a hunch, until I wrote it.

I will therefore continue my best guess speculations until someone corrects me. It is known that ancient script often omitted vowels, especially at the end of words, as in Muslim, a Kalanga word which should correctly be read "Mu si lime". Well, similarly the German word "Herr" meaning "Mr" is not an abbreviation of "Herero", but the full word "Herero". That is how it should be read - Herero!

The WaTusi (Tutsis) of East Africa, being Hereros also, boast a capital city in Rwanda called "Chigali",  ordinarilly written "Kigali". This Kalanga word can mean "a village" from the Kalanga verb "Ku gala", or it can mean "a cooking pot". In the case of the Rwanda capital I believe it means the latter. In other words it points to the Baherero/Germans/Tutsis having been the workgroup tasked with producing cooking pots at Mapungubwe.

The French beret is one interesting head ware. Some Baganda live in a place called Mukono (Bull in Kalanga) in Uganda. The Tswana (Sumerian) word "Marete" means testicles. The French word "beret" could therefore indicate a grafting of a Tswana word onto a Kalanga stem "Be..." The Kalanga stem "Be.." means "Those of the...", as in "Be-ijing", meaning "Those of the ijing (water well)". The said grafting, which produces the word "beret" suggests that the beret was originally made by gouging out a bull's testicles from their leather enclosure, inserting a flat disk of the diameter of a human head into the leather "pouch" so obtained and proceeding with the usual leather processing techniques on the resultant "beret".

The above are just speculations - no offence, malice or vulgarity intended.   

Covid-19 vaccine: my post jab experiences

 I am not a scientist, let alone an immunology expert, but my personal experiences after getting the jab may help scientists unravel the blood clotting mystery, or so I hope! I got my first anti Covid-19 jab on an uneventful day about two weeks ago. When I got the jab, I had my face mask on, covering both my nose and mouth. One or two minutes later a sneeze, followed by a sudden flow of mucus started. I was under observation by the vaccinating crew. For a flitting moment the attendant health worker seemed concerned, but after a few more minutes her face relaxed, as I continued to swallow my mucus from under my mask, because I had nowhere else to spit it. After some five or ten minutes we were released, and advised not to drink alcohol for at least 24 hours.

The rest of the day I felt just fine. The following day I felt like I was about to catch a cold or flu. I knew that this was something to do with the vaccine because ever since I started wearing a face mask last year, I have never caught cold or flu. Now, this is important: as a rule, whenever I feel feverish or about to catch cold or flu, I resort to RESTING as a curative measure. So, I instinctively started  resting. The feverishness not only persisted, but got worse. I decided to contact a relative to find out how she was feeling, since she had also got the jab on the same day as me. She said she was fine. Being a medical person, she passed me information that proved vital to help me recover from my flu like symptoms. She said that she had decided to engage in physical activity to lessen the risk of blood clots, given the "not so healthy" state of her heart! This was like a bolt from the blue - I needed to do the opposite of what I normally do to overcome exactly the feeling that I was experiencing at the time. I needed to be active! But normally, if I become active when feeling the way I did, the "oncoming" flu or cold would get worse. I decided to give it a try; after all the person giving me the advice did not know how I normally tame my flu; and like I said she is a medical person.

I took an hour long walk during which I exercised every part of my body; swinging my arms and legs wildly as I walked along. To my shock the more I exercised the better I felt. After an hour I returned home. I have never felt the flu like discomfort again. Exercise cured the very feelings that I normally cure by NOT exercising! I do not know what would have happened if I had continued RESTING instead of vigorously exercising. Maybe I would have developed blood clots. Like I said, I am not a scientist. I am sure there are people out there who, like me are not aware that a vaccine jab, though causing the same feelings as the onset of flu, needs to be responded to in exactly the OPPOSITE manner to a flu onset. Just my two pennies worth.  

How innovative Africans can be!

 Ever since I posted my question of 29 January, I have been sincerely trying to figure out what the answer is. I think I know the answer. What some of you at least, were thinking is how African innovativeness can be applied to circumvent the obstacle presented by Barack Obama's challenge at the African heads of state gathering in Addis Ababa.

The answer - appoint a successor before your last term of office ends; then wait. Pray hard so that nature takes its course and the appointee somehow meets his maker just before the election. Then your party will be facing certain defeat unless it can somehow subvert the constitution and enable you to "stand in" for your deceased appointee. Voila! done. You've "constitutionally" got your extra term of office.

Only problem is: from now onwards appointees are likely to run for dear life as soon as they are appointed!

The first soldier

 "He is five foot four and he is six feet two; he fights with missiles  and with spears; he is the one who must decide who is to live and who is to die..."

I don't know who sings the quoted song (Universal soldier?) but I suspect it could be the American singer Donovan. The original "soldier's" responsibility was neither to rule nor to overthrow legally constituted governments. Rather, it was to GUARD gold freight carried by human mules along the Tate River, from Nyangabwe (Francistown) to Mapungubwe Hill. The reader will recall that Mapungubwe is situated at the confluence of the perennial Limpopo River and the seasonal Shashe River. The Shashe River in turn has a tributary, known as the Tate (father) River. At the confluence of the Tate River and  one of own tributaries - the Ntshi River, lies Francistown city and its gold mines. And so during the Anunnaki days, humans mined and carried the gold (zolota in Kalanga) along the dry river bed of the Tate, then along that of the Shashe and onto Mapungubwe Hill.

Kalanga speakers refer to the Tate River as the Dati River. Nonetheless I am convinced that the river's correct name is Tate, because the so-called mixed race people of Francistown call it that - Tate River. You see the mixed race people of Francistown have been "mixed" since human creation. They are children of the white Anunnaki miners and humans, at the time when all humans were black. How do I know this? In Kalanga one such person is known as "Gutwane", plural "Bakutwane", derogatively "Makutwane". The word Gutwane is a corruption of the Kalanga phrase/question "Gu-ti-wa-ani?" literally meaning "Miner! whose (children) are we?" It is from the Kalanga language that Sumerian (Sotho/Tswana languages) subsequently called them "Lekutwane", plural "Makutwane". And so what their descendants call the Tate River will be uncorrupted - they have lived around the mines since humanity was created. Of course Africa quickly turned them Black, but as a community, they have remained a separate black tribe for thousands of years. When white European colonisers returned to Africa, they too intermarried/interbred with the then Black Bakutwane because it was the latter who knew, and showed the former where the gold mines were. The former then "discovered" the gold and "founded" Francistown city! The natives (Bakutwane) however stuck with the name of their river -Tate, which name the Europeans changed to Tati.

The Kalanga name "Dati" however, is an informal (almost corrupted) version of the name. Literally, Dati means a bowed branch trap, the kind that "jungle men" such as Tarzan set up to catch unwanted intruders and hoist them up sky high! And so human gold (zolota) mules along the Tate River were protected ala "Dati" by unseen guards known as "zolo-dati", from whence the name soldier/soldat comes. In other words, the original soldier's duty was likely, to guard against economic plunder by Homo erectus, and not to kill other humans; certainly not to overthrow the government, which at the time was that of our creators.

Your Excelencies, what did you understand?

 Just before he left office, then US President Barack Obama addressed African heads of states assembled in Adis Ababa. I wonder who had invited him. Anyway, Obama said things, some of which if taken up and practiced by his listeners would pull Africa out of the poverty that she is currently in and has been in for thousands of years.

Two things stand out, in my opinion. Obama said that if he were to run again for elections he was confident that he could win, but that he could not run again because that is what the constitution of the United States mandated - two terms and no more! The other thing that Obama said, which is in a way related to the first is that Africa needs strong institutions, and not strong men.
